da costa, vanessa_v2Vanessa  is a PHI/CDC Global Epidemiology Fellow, working primarily in HIV programming and data analytics. She holds a Master of Public Health Degree in Global Epidemiology from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Minor in African Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-Go Heels! She has a strong interest in career development, and has spent the past 5 years working globally (including as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, Rwanda -’14-’16) while simultaneously assisting students, colleagues, and peers revise and edit job applications, resumes, cover letters, essays, and  providing them with academic and career advice. Vanessa has previously worked in public health research and programming for different public health organizations, universities, and research groups.
